You Are Not Alone

You Matter More Than You Know

Dear Friend,

When I was your age, there were days I felt completely invisible. I remember sitting in my room at night, curled up in bed, feeling like the whole world had forgotten me. There wasn’t a mom to tuck me in, or a dad to tell me everything would be okay. Sometimes the only sound in the house was the ticking clock — and my own thoughts telling me I didn’t matter.

One night, after another fight in my house, I ran to my room and slammed the door. I pressed my hands over my ears to block out the yelling, but even when the house was quiet, the loneliness was so loud inside my heart. I wished someone would just knock on my door and say, “I see you. I care about you. You’re important to me.”

If you’ve ever felt that way, I want you to know — I understand. And I want to be the one to tell you: you matter. You are seen. You are loved more than you can possibly imagine.

The truth is, I didn’t stay in that lonely place forever. God brought people into my life who noticed me, encouraged me, and helped me believe in myself again. And He can do the same for you.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18

Your story isn’t over — and the next chapter can be the best one yet.

With hope,
Margaret
